Matt Witkovsky is a curator and a vice president at the Art Institute of Chicago. He takes care of precious treasures for the benefit of the public and generations to come. Communicating effectively is central to any museum curator's work, as is getting general audiences excited about specialized histories or complex ideas. Outside of work Matt is an avid gardener and renewable energy enthusiast and likes nothing more than a good home improvement project. He and his wife have raised two daughters with a love for the outdoors and our more-than-human environment.
